Chertsey Woolcraft Guild is a group interested in any traditional crafts and skills related to wool.
The majority of the members start with a fleece and prepare it for spinning into yarn, either on a drop spindle or on a wheel. The yarn is then used for knitting, crocheting and weaving. Occasionally we hold in-house workshops on dying, felting and unusual spinning and knitting techniques.
If you are interested in finding out more about what we do or would like to join us, please contact Marion Borthwick on 07778441682 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or come to one of our workshops at The Old School Room, Church Hill, Pyrford, GU22 8XH
We meet on the first Saturday of the month from 10.30 – 12.30 at Pyrford and also the Revive Café on the 3rd Saturday & 4th Tuesday of the month. Please drop in if your in the area.
